This morning, I considered changing Christmas to my favorite holiday. It would usurp Halloween, which has long satisfied my need for creativity, decorations and theatricals. What's better than the world becoming your stage for a day? But this year, when no one could figure out that I was Rogue, my enthusiasm started to wane. This year, I got to wear bells to work for a week, host Christmas parties on four separate occasions (again for work; I love my job), give away donated and well appreciated gifts, and generally see a lot of holiday cheer. The joy of Christ's presence is definitely clear on the grateful faces of our students. Yay for Christmas! Happy Birthday Jesus!
